Joshua Tree

Grupa U2 završila je svoju petomjesečnu "The Joshua Tree" turneju, s rasporodanim koncertima kroz tri kontinenta, zbog čega je uvrštena u top 5 turneja ove godine, točnije na njezino drugo mjesto. Listu 10 najisplativijih turneja 2017. godine pogledajte u nastavku.

Ukupno 50 rasprodanih koncerata donijeli su im zaradu od 316 milijuna dolara, odnosno više od 2.7 milijuna karata je rasprodano.

Turneju, koja je obilježila 30-tu godišnjicu albuma iz 1987. "The Joshua Tree" započeli su u Sjevernoj Americi 12. svibnja te su na svim koncertima izvodili sve pjesme s albuma.

Što se tiče europskog dijela, koncerte su započeli u Londonu u srpnju, posjetili Rim gdje smo ih i mi pogledali, te završili Briselom u kolovozu, prije nego li je turneja krenula u završnu fazu kroz Latinsku Ameriku.

Na stadionu Estádio do Morumbi u Sao Paulu na kartama se zaradilo okvirno 36 milijuna dolara i time se smatra najrasprodanijim koncertom izvođača ove godine.
